第11条 犯罪の訴追を受けた者は、すべて、自己の弁護に必要なすべての保障を与えられた公開の裁判において法律に従って有罪の立証があるまでは、無罪と推定される権利を有する。

Article 11
Everyone charged with a penal offence has the right to be presumed innocent until proved guilty according to law in a public trial at which he has had all the guarantees necessary for his defence.
No one shall be held guilty of any penal offence on account of any act or omission which did not constitute a penal offence, under national or international law, at the time when it was committed. Nor shall a heavier penalty be imposed than the one that was applicable at the time the penal offence was committed.
Artikel 11
Jeder, der wegen einer strafbaren Handlung beschuldigt wird, hat das Recht, als unschuldig zu gelten, solange seine Schuld nicht in einem öffentlichen Verfahren, in dem er alle für seine Verteidigung notwendigen Garantien gehabt hat, gemäß dem Gesetz nachgewiesen ist.
Niemand darf wegen einer Handlung oder Unterlassung verurteilt werden, die zur Zeit ihrer Begehung nach innerstaatlichem oder internationalem Recht nicht strafbar war. Ebenso darf keine schwerere Strafe als die zum Zeitpunkt der Begehung der strafbaren Handlung angedrohte Strafe verhängt werden.
Artigo 11°
Toda a pessoa acusada de um acto delituoso presume-se inocente até que a sua culpabilidade fique legalmente provada no decurso de um processo público em que todas as garantias necessárias de defesa lhe sejam asseguradas.
Ninguém será condenado por acções ou omissões que, no momento da sua prática, não constituíam acto delituoso à face do direito interno ou internacional. Do mesmo modo, não será infligida pena mais grave do que a que era aplicável no momento em que o acto delituoso foi cometido.
